I did not eat here but got a Blue Christmas cocktail. They had very beautiful decorations and I wish I could've stayed longer. I had The Boars Head Feaste at The Castle of Muskogee to get to! Definitely will come back in the future!

First time and really enjoyed it. Great atmosphere and the bartender was helpful and didn't hover. Can't wait to come back Came back twice since. Wings and steak were wonderful.

My husband and I went there for the first time tonight and we really enjoyed it. We actually would give them a 4 1/2 and not a 4, but we can’t mark that on the above stars ⭐ so we’ll just type it here. We had their fried mushrooms and really enjoyed them, we’d give them a four. He had the Big Max which was a hamburger patty with a hot link, bacon , and cheese served on Brioche Bread with housemade Jack Daniel’s BBQ sauce. He said he would give it a 4 1/2 and the food combination tasted really good together. We both ate their French Fries and would give them a five (5.). They lad a light crisp crunch to them and they were very good. I had an Old Fashioned Hamburger served on Brioche Bread and I’d give it a strong four (4.). It was definitely filling too! Also, they had the restaurant decorated up for Christmas and it was BEAUTIFUL! I have some pictures I’ll share, but it’s even prettier in person. I’m so glad we went and we’d go there again. It was definitely a nice surprise.

Excellent all around. Worth every bite to drive from anywhere!! Driving thru from Sulphur Springs TX, and I would drive it just to eat here again!!

Pros: food was delicious, setting was pretty neat and inviting, old school vibes with some randomness which was kinda cool. Priced good for the meal Cons: sweet tea is not a good southern sweet tea (I believe it was a black tea with sugar added), a cook quit after we ordered so the food took awhile to come out However, the cook who stepped in was on point. Their seems to be 2 names for this place so I don’t actually know what one we ate at ( Maxs garage or Maxine’s Gastropub) Would recommend Would recommend

The atmosphere at Max's is fun. Our server was still learning the ropes, but very sweet and tried hard to make sure everything was correct for us after a few hiccups. The food, for the price, was ok. Nothing was bad, but nothing was spectacular either. The steak (ribeye) was cooked correctly but was pretty bland. Our bill totaled almost $100 and still had to pay a 3% fee to pay with a card.
